Hillside Split-Suite House is a speculative house sited on a downhill-facing slope in San Carlos. The design responds to view limitations on both upper and lower floors caused by the tree canopy at varying elevations along the frontage. It also explores flexible living arrangements through two levels, each with a separate primary bedroom suite. The upper floor extends horizontally to capture expansive views of the Bay, while the lower floor adopts a more introverted layout that supports intimate family gathering.
